Abstract

Here the method of experimental and analytic evaluation of precise movement stability is described. Standard deviation, spectral density, covariate function of motion errors are accepted for the criterions of evaluation. Assemblies of precise linear movement with aerostatic and rolling bearings have been investigated by using this method. The character of movement errors, main sources of their occurrence are also defined here. The article includes comparisons of different errors as well.
