Abstract

New limit states attained during the realization of the low temperature discontinuous yielding effect and the corresponding criterial characteristics have been systema-tized and classified taking into account many factors gov-erning the manifestation of this phenomenon and its staged nature. It has been shown that the lower critical stress corresponding to the lower peak of the jump can be adopted as a measure of the material strength.
