Abstract

The purpose of this study was first, to propose a new wearable mechatronic Motion Capture System for Angle Measurement. Second, we examined the impact of the system on foot loading during walking. The proposed system provides unimpeded movement range sufficient to allow measurement of natural human walk. It can be used outside regular laboratory. The results obtained from pedobarograph provided information about changes in pressure distribution during walking caused by the wearable measurement construction.
