Abstract
The fatigue curves are obtained and the regulari-ties of the effect of the tensile cycle asymmetry in the range –2 ≤ R ≤ 0.5 on the length and position of the transi-tion section of the fatigue curve of steel 45 and titanium alloy PT-3V are investigated. Diagrams of limit amplitudes for the studied alloys are constructed. A method for calcu-lating the position and length of the transition stage of the fatigue curve is proposed.
