Stress and strain analysis of a bilayer composite beam with interlayer slip under hygrothermal loads
Abstract
The work includes stress and strain analysis of a bilayer composite beam with interlayer slip under hy-grothermal loads. An algorithm allowing calculation of limiting thermal and hygral strains and an algorithm for calculation of limiting beam length (if exceeded, it will cause one of the layers cracking) are presented in the article. According to the proposed relationships the analysis of a real bilayer beam stresses, strains and deflections has been performed.
