Effect of the temperature gradient on heat transfer and friction in laminar liquid film
Abstract
Analytical study of the stabilized heat transferacross liquid film flow when the maximum heat flux densityis observed on the wetted surface was carried out. Thissituation may feature either surface or liquid side heating.Prediction of heat transfer and friction are made for laminarfilm flow of very different physical properties liquids(water, transformer and compressor oil, glycerine and fueloil). A method for the calculations of heat transfer and frictionin laminar film with respect to variability of liquidphysical properties was suggested. The dependencies ofstabilized heat transfer and friction on temperature gradientfor laminar film flow were estimated analytically.Downloads
