This research deals with the development of the intelligent manufacturing productivity forecasting model. The development is based on artificial neural network (ANN). Manufacturing productivity as the ratio of value created vs cost incurred to create it has been applied in this paper. The methodology of value definition for order-handled producers of components and parts is created. ANN is used for forecasting of manufacturing cost for the above mentioned parts. The developed productivity forecasting model is tested by industrial case study applying CNC laser cutting and CNC punching machines processes.Downloads
